This tells you how your data is handled when you use the Rock Star Booth. It's designed to meet UK GDPR.
The Proper Booth is the data controller, running this booth for That 80s Rock Show (who your card may be shared with). Contact: hello@theproperbooth.com.
Your photo; the AI-generated image made from it; the stage name and role you choose; and the date, time and consent choices you make here.
Your consent. We use your photo to create your card and show it in the on-site event gallery only because you've agreed (the required tick). If you also tick the optional box, we may share your card on social media and in marketing. You don't have to use the booth — it's optional and just for fun.
To make the image, your photo is sent to OpenAI for AI processing on servers in the United States (an international transfer). Your card and details are stored using Supabase. These providers act as our processors under data-processing terms and don't use your images for their own purposes.
The result is an AI-imagined, stylised interpretation — not a real photograph — so features and likeness may differ. If you'd rather not, use your real photo instead.
We keep your photo, image and details for the event and for up to 12 months for promotion, then delete them. If you didn't tick the optional marketing box, we won't use your card for marketing.
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data, receive a copy, and withdraw consent at any time — as easily as you gave it — by emailing hello@theproperbooth.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Please only use this if you're 16 or older, or a parent/guardian is supervising and consents on your behalf.
